A subscriber debugging a missing event has no visibility into whether it was sent, and the alternative to a delivery log is a support ticket.
GET /api/webhook-deliveries?endpoint=ep_88
{
"data": [{
"id": "whd_9c1f",
"event": "order.placed",
"attempts": 3,
"status": "failed",
"last_attempt_at": "2022-09-14T09:41:02Z",
"last_response": { "status": 502, "body_excerpt": "..." },
"next_attempt_at": "2022-09-14T10:41:02Z"
}]
}
Returning an excerpt of their own response is what makes this genuinely useful — a subscriber seeing their own 502 diagnoses it without involving anybody. A replay endpoint alongside it removes the other half of the support load, and both need a retention policy because the table grows at the rate of the event stream.
